How We Got Here...

Hey there! I'm Katie Patton, and I'm originally from Dallas, Texas.  I started acting at 4 years old when I had my breakout role as Saturn in an original musical about the planets. This passion grew and became my main goal. 

I graduated and immediately packed up my bags for the big city. Well... almost. I chose to attend Hofstra University in Uniondale, NY, where I obtained a BFA in Acting and finding time to pick up an honors college merit, math minor, writing minor, and spend many extra hours in the school of communications. 

New York was cold, real cold, and my warm blood made itself known after graduation. (If you've ever stepped foot in a pile of snow that fell into your snow boot, you'll get it.) I decided I needed a change, well, another change. I set my sights on Los Angeles. 

Now I've been here some time, laid down many roots, and have found myself involved in so many exciting paths I never would have expected. I started training at Anthony Meindl's Actor Workshop the week I moved here and worked consistently there for two years. In 2024, I decided I needed another perspective and started training at Lesly Kahn and Co, where I have created a community of creative partners who refuse to wait for permission to work. 

I have become a lead producer and stage manager for a rock 'n' roll burlesque show with multiple residencies around Los Angeles, allowing me to hone in on my creativity and organization skills. Need an extra pen? I'm your girl.
